Potential fix for https://github.com/neolace/flint/security/code-scanning/24
To address the issue, we will replace the use of
Math.random()
with a cryptographically secure random number generator. For Node.js, we can use thecrypto
module'srandomBytes
function to generate secure random values. For the browser environment, we can usecrypto.getRandomValues
. Since the codebase appears to be TypeScript, we will ensure type compatibility.Specifically:
Math.random()
inrandomEmail
,randomTeamName
, andrandomPassword
with a secure random value generated usingcrypto.randomBytes
.random.ts
file to import thecrypto
module and use it for secure randomness.Suggested fixes powered by Copilot Autofix. Review carefully before merging.
