Will there be a more direct way of discussing things, like for example a discord server ?

No, there is not yet. And here is the only official communication channel.

The reason why there isn't:

1. This project is still very unstable, so it's not easy to use for real game.
2. And I don't think people will coming in if I open the discord server.

But if you really want, we can open a discord server and share the progress from time to time.

I completely agreee with your points, however I think having a more direct communication medium could allow to gather more interested people while allowing to discuss more easily.
