viewer not using `tr()` language translation for all strings

Describe the bug

The tr() language translation function is used throughout the GUI to support internationalization and different language translations. However, it looks like this is used only sporadically in the viewer's GUI widgets. We should unify t his.

Regarding "viewer/main/ui/*.C" being missing. Are you referring to the following block of code on the page?

I did

lupdate gui/*.C viewer/main/*.C viewer/main/ui/*.C winutil/Qvis*.C \
    plots/*/Qvis*.C plots/*/*GUIPluginInfo.C plots/Spreadsheet/SpreadsheetViewer.C \
    operators/*/Qvis*.C  operators/*/*GUIPluginInfo.C \
    -ts resources/translations/lang.ts

since there was no tools/xmledit/*.C but there is viewer/main/ui/*.C despite it does not seem to have an effect on the viewer window.

I updated the text on the wiki. I added viewer/main/ui/*.C and changed tools/xmledit/*.C to tools/dev/xmledit/*.C.

• I did not check if there were other directories that one should add.
• Do you see why the viewer does not exhibit the translations (see my PR Adding viewer/main/ui/*.C for Spanish translation #5872 for instance) ?
