iOS app launch sequence shows rapid logo transitions that appear glitchy

• uBO Lite is the only extension.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

When launching uBOL for iOS, the app transitions through a few logo screens in quick succession, creating a glitchy visual effect.

1. First, it shows the uBOL logo on a black background
2. Then very quickly switches to the same logo on a grey background
3. Finally, it fades into the main screen with the logo slightly repositioned (higher) and the quote displayed underneath

Steps to Reproduce

1. Tap the uBlock Origin Lite app icon on iOS.
2. Observe the startup sequence before reaching the main screen.

Expected behavior

A smoother transition from launch to the main screen.
Ideally, a single consistent splash or transition animation, or better control of timing and positioning of visual elements.

Actual behavior

Quick, somewhat jarring series of logo appearances that create a glitch-like effect.

That part was auto-created by the Safari Web Extension template in Xcode, so whenever I commit the Xcode project, people with knowledge of app-related code will be able to help.

Currently I want to be sure I have all Xcode-specific directory all properly formed before I make a first commit of it, and I also haven't decided yet where it will be committed, though for now I lean toward committing it into https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBOL-home/dist/safari since the purpose is to be able to distribute the Safari version.

When you leave an app on iOS, the system rapidly toggles light/dark mode in order to have accurate preview screenshots of both light and dark mode versions of the app to show as previews in the app switcher (source), which might be a cause of this effect.

That is not the reason here. My device is permanently in dark mode, and the issue is only reproducible when force closing the app.
It doesn't occur if left open.
