bootstrap graphic folio site | image loading issues

Good morning Github

I am a visual and physical creator with minimal coding know-how that has somehow been enough to put together a folio site of my work using bootstrap www.joejo.com . . . somehow

I have very limited understanding of the terms and language around coding to communicate this effectively – I appreciate your tolerance of this limitation

Yesterday I saw that images were not displaying correctly for the first time since I built and launched the site, maybe 8 years ago [Bootstrap v3.3.5]

My observations:

• The issue seems to be linked with the downloading and display of any type of image on any page, including static page headers for example, not just 'onmouseover' images.
• It seems related to some kind of limit for images to download and display fully. If the 'Reload this page' button at the top of a browsers' window is clicked repeatedly, all the unloaded images will eventually download and display, the number of times the 'Reload this page' button needs clicking for all the images to load and display, seems to be linked to the number of images on the page, ie: fewer images fewer clicks, more images more clicks. Performing a 'hard refresh' or 'force reload' using the keyboard 'Ctrl + F5' results in perpetuating the problem, with missing images and empty placeholders.
• I’ve had confirmation from IONOS that it's not related to hosting issues
• I’m aware as I look at this that the Bootstrap version used is very old

I haven't had a closer look now. But at first glance I notice that you have integrated jquery twice.
