Soto GraphQL usage

I’m trying to adopt soto as amplify-swift does not supports the platforms I need. The docs mention that there is a mapping/correspondence to AWS services but I’m having a hard time to emulate how I currently deal with GraphQL. In amplify-swift the interface is “Amplify.API.query” and you just pass the autogenerated query schema.

In Soto AppSync there are many GraphQL shapes/apis but I couldn’t find any similar to a simple query.

Is there any documentation, material or community where I could get more info?

Soto provides a one to one mapping of functions to service operations. You can use the standard AWS docs for AppSync https://docs.aws.amazon.com/appsync/?icmpid=docs_homepage_fewebmobile. There is no documentation specific to Soto for AppSync.

I don't know a great deal about AppSync but as far as I can tell it creates an endpoint for your API and this can be accessed via any GraphQL client. So you should be able to a use an HTTPClient to access it. If you need to sign those request you can use SotoCore to sign them see https://soto.codes/2021/02/signing-urls-and-headers.html

Soto is not a GraphQL client.
