Where does the advertisement key go in the esp32 firmware?

I have copied the base64 advertisement key from the openhaystack application but I don't know what to do with it .

also the deploy feature on the mac openhaystack doesn't seem to work at all

I can't seem to get esp32 deploying to work either! What board are you using?

You can manually deploy to your ESP32 by going to the app files (go to the app, right click and press "show package contents"), then go to contents -> resources -> ESP32. You should see a file called flash_esp32.sh. cd into the directory, and then run this file in the terminal using the sh command, followed by -p *port* and your advertisement key

(e.g. sh flash_esp32.sh -p /dev/usbserial-1001 *advertisement key*)

If you don't want to cd into the directory, just type sh and then drag the flash_esp32.:) file from finder into the terminal, then proceed with the -p *port* and your advertisement key

If you don't know the port, try to deploy using the OpenHaystack app again and it will show you a list of ports

It didn't work right away for me, but once I was told it was successfully deployed I pressed the reset button on my ESP32 and then left it connected to power for a little bit, 10-15 mins, and then it showed up in the app!
