Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have all the pictures coming into my timeline. Some are work other are family. The family ones need to end up in a shared family album. At times I do a quick share, sometimes I forget for a while. I keep losing track which pictures have already been added to the family album and which not.

Describe the solution you'd like
A timeline view that makes a distinguishes items already in an album vs those not + ability to select and add to said album would basically solve my problem.
Distinguishing pictures in album from those not in the album could be as simple as "grayscaling" (giving them a sort of "disabled" look) or adding a border, or a small symbol/dot in a corner

Not sure if this is a generally requested feature. I somehow feel this is probably not too hard, so I was looking into customization/extensibility possibilities to add a sort of "custom view". That way I could solve my own problem without having to fork, or nagging to overclutter/overcomplicate? the UI for others

I would support such a feature. The simplest solution would be to have a filter option in the timeline, e.g., images not in an album.
