Description
Currently, the Memories app only displays pictures and videos, but sometimes, we need to include non-image files such as presentations or text files. It would be great if Memories could show a placeholder image (e.g., an icon) for these files. When clicked, the placeholder should redirect to the regular "Files" app link, so the file can be viewed.
Current Issue:
When a non-image file is included, it is simply not listed at all. As a result, when sharing albums from holidays, I always have to post two links:
Hi guys, to see the pictures, open this:
https://cloud.example.com/apps/memories/s/prz9NFefyiyDSLCBut the TXT file with notes that we made, as well as the XLS spreadsheet with costs must be accessed via:
https://cloud.example.com/s/prz9NFefyiyDSLC
I prefer not to use the second link because the user experience is inferior compared to that of the Memories app.
Are there any plans to support non-image files in the Memories app, or is there a workaround for the quirk mentioned above? It would greatly improve the user experience by keeping all related content accessible through the Memories app.
Keep in mind that I do not wish for non-images/non-videos to have a first-class support in Memories, as its purpose is to show pictures/videos - but I would like to somehow solve this awkward problem that I described above.
