Breaking changes - why were some JWT algorithms removed?

Really curious why ES256K/secp256k1 was removed in 6.0.0

Jose was the only NodeJS library that seemed to support it

Also why was Ed448 removed?

• ES256K/secp256k1 support was removed because it is not supported in WebCryptoAPI and there are no plans for it at this point.
• Curve448 was removed because it was only supported in the Node.js runtime, this may be re-introduced later if browsers or other runtimes choose to support the algorithm but in the Ed448 case this would only be for the new fully-specified Ed448 JWS Algorithm Identifier, not to mix it up with EdDSA/Ed25519 again.

I highly suggest you to voice your wish for these curves to be widely supported in the https://github.com/w3c/webcrypto/ issue tracker as that is the only way. I wouldn't get your hopes up though.
