STL thumbnail preview not showing if "Creality Print" is set as the default app #40800

Microsoft PowerToys version

0.92.1

Installation method

PowerToys auto-update

Area(s) with issue?

File Explorer: Thumbnail preview

Steps to reproduce

I noticed that when I moved to a new 3D printing slicer program, Creality Print, the STL files stopped having previews.

I installed Creality Print and saw my files with no preview after restarting my laptop.
I tried fiddling with settings and what works is to set the .stl to have my older program, Creality Slicer, as the default

This fixes the issue and I can revert it back to Creality Print as the default with no issue

But I need to do this to every folder and also, if I change it back to Creality Print before Powertoys loads for all the STL files, it gives a scenario, where some files are rendered with previews, while others are not.

✔️ Expected Behavior

STL files should be previewed through thumbnails automatically

Image

❌ Actual Behavior

But it doesn't do so if I use "Creality Print" and I need to do the steps mentioned above to allow it to render and replace this. I think the new program "Creality Print" has its own thumbnails for STL files and the old "Creality Slicer" doesn't. I would like Powertoys to override the thumbnails to show the preview instead.
