Running Locally Issue

I'm getting an error when running locally, everything is running fine but it is an error with my credentials. I have created the .env file in my server folder and put in my variables but still no luck. Do I have to manually set the env variables myself in the terminal before running or can is the .env file enough thanks!

After placing the right variables on the .env and restarting your server it should work automatically. Are you still having problems?
