Schema Build Error: Invalid argument

LINQPad v5.52.01(AnyCPU)
LINQ to DB 5.41

I have added a LINQ to DB connection with connection string Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=C:\Users\hugh\Desktop\3di5_uk_230122a\3di5_uk_230122a.mdb. Every time I click Refresh on the connection's context menu, this error dialog appears:

After dismissing the dialog, LINQPad is unresponsive for about 60 seconds (similar to #125).

I'm not sure how to debug this but I can provide more info if needed.

I think I know what is causing the underlying error. If I open that .mdb file in Access and go to the Linked Table Manager, one of the linked tables has an empty File name:

Access is ok with things remaining in that state. If I click the Refresh button for the link, Access gives me a message saying just 'Invalid argument' (same as above). Setting the File name to a database which does exist makes the error go away, in both Access and LINQPad.

I was lucky that I found this by coincidence. Perhaps the LINQPad error could be more informative or handled in a nicer way in case someone stumbles on this again?

I will look into it but I suspect the only option is to add checkbox to disable database schema change detection for connection.

Alternatively you can switch connection string to use odbc provider. Due to lack of required APIs, it doesn't use change detection
