Does this mod work on steam deck?

I just got a steam deck and i was wondering if i can play gtag will mods so i put it on desktop mode and did everything correctly but when i loaded in with this mod i spammed my keyboard but no menu appeared. I got this mod a while back on my crappy computer and it allowed pc controls. I did everything correctly like installing MMM and putting it in the plugins folder.
