Checkmark widget appears to be a 1x2 in Sony Xperia

Previously, I was able to keep the checkmark widget on my homescreen as a 1x1 widget, now it appears to be a 1x2 widget, which wastes a lot of space. Can the minimum height restriction be removed?

System information

• Sony Xperia XQ-CQ62
• Android 14 64.2.A.2.244 release-keys
• Built-in Launcher - Xperia Home Version 14

I am currently unable to reproduce this issue on other Sony Xperia devices. If this is happening to anyone else, please let us know.

It is worth noting that I have the grid setting at 5x8

Same happening on GrapheneOS (Pixel 4a) with a 5x5 grid.
