DNS resolving to an ipv6 address which isn't supported on my network

I'm seeing this:

Could not establish a connection to [ipv6]2600:1f1c:d8:5f01::6e:5:443." (cause: "connect(descriptor:addr:size:): No route to host (errno: 65)")

This is with trying to connect to a grpc server hosted on my machine I'm attempting to make public with an ngrok http proxy (which supports http2)
