Accesing the app using localhost or machine name not going through

Hi, I am watching you excellent video at

It works fine and I was able to deploy the helm application and can access it at http://127.0.0.1:8888 but not able to access it using http://mVMName:8888.
Is this normal?
My cluster is created with idpbuilder which uses minikube which creates a cluster inside a docker container
