Sending E-Mail via sendmail

Hi all,

can DIUN use a sendmail interface?
I would like to send notifications from DIUN by mail, not via SMTP, but via sendmail. I have installed nullmailer for system mails on my hosts, but this does not offer port 25 for SMTP. Local processes can use the sendmail binary provided, but DIUN seems to require SMTP.

Can DIUN use sendmail? Has this ever been a feature request?
