How to generate animated transitions between 2 images using AI?

I'm trying to create short-form videos like the ones from these YouTube channels:

• https://www.youtube.com/@legendstorybook2025
• https://www.youtube.com/@justviewinghistory

They use only 2 still photos and generate a smooth animation in-between — like the person lowering their head and flipping their hair — even though such movements don't exist in the original images.

I've tested tools like Kling and Pika. Kling has too many restrictions, and Pika often fails to preserve faces. PixVerse gave the closest result, but it's too expensive and inconsistent for daily use.

So now I'm wondering:

1. What AI tools could produce this kind of morphing animation from 2 photos?
2. Is something like this possible in ComfyUI?
