When using github dark mode, the svg labels don't show up very well because of the transparent background

Can confirm this. In addition, the svg is completely messed up in Firefox but work fine in Chrome. It probably uses some svg stuff that's not in firefox.

Yep, They dont work as intended.
Also, I dont think its related to github dark mode but rather just firefox.
