Heavy diskio increase/performance drop for rpc node post v1.32.2 upgrade

To reproduce

update to v1.32.2 - can't catchup & see iowait etc surge without other bottleneck in cpu/memory

none error there , but feel the slowdown

we examined this few times

the degrade is real , even for node resync bootstrapped new using DownloadLatestStates mode to get small datadir from scratch

yes, me too . it's hang on after running a while. and without any performance issue.
