Inert "This page is tagged by:" links

Since upgrading to version 2.6.9, all links in the "This page is tagged by:" section of a page are marked as inert and are thus unable to be selected or clicked through. This does not seem to be an issue for links in the "This page is a tag of:" section. Is this a bug with my installation or a Scalar wide change? Can the functionality of the links be restored while still staying on the current version?

The inert attribute seems to have been added in this commit but I'm not sure the rational as to why?

Thanks for catching this @jwellnit , this change was part of our recent accessibility improvements. The idea was to add inert to metadata links which are invisible to the user so they are likewise invisible to screen readers, but looks like the targeting was a bit too broad. Just committed a fix. Are you hosting your own install, using Reclaim, something else?
