Stata + Matlab #23

Hi!
I thought I rather first discuss this in an issue before writing a PR.
Do you really think that Stata + Matlab should (as of 2022) be seen as the industry standard for statistical calculations/modelling? It seems to me that at least the latter should by now be treated pretty much the same as Julia and Python.
