I think I fixed this, please rerun pip install git+https://github.com/MC3DS-Save-Research/3DS-Chunker and try converting again

I tried it later but the error hints that a 'blankworld' folder is missing under ...\Lib\site-packages. I then copied the 'blankworld' folder from the code zip to site-packages folder manually and the script started to work and return result. It literally gave me just a blankworld however. I saw the data read by java 1.16.5 and returned a blank world. The output data only takes about 1MB, which is 1/10 of the original size and I don't know if it should be like this btw.
Could you help a little further? Thanks for your efforts!

Can you do the following so I can try to troubleshoot this?

• Delete the output folder and convert the world again
• Open the world in Minecraft
• Close Minecraft and share the client log (latest.log) right after loading the world, here's a tutorial I found

The reason you might have to do this is because sometimes when Minecraft has an error, instead of showing an error message it just deletes things and puts an error in that log

No problem, happy to help! You're not the only one struggling to use this, it's very experimental and not user-friendly at the moment. I'm planning on making it much easier to use soon, in the meantime if you have any suggestions for how to make the instructions more clear let me know

Firstly I would like to make sure that you didn't misunderstood something, which means it was the data outputed by the script had been in a size for 1MB already.

Hi, thanks for sending it. I just remembered something that might be the issue: Minecraft 3DS sometimes sets your spawn to hundreds of coordinates out, and so it seems blank at spawn. You can try teleporting to whatever Minecraft 3DS shows your coordinates as on the bottom screen (the part that says "X: # Y: # Z: #”)

The only reason I know is because I spent forever thinking this was an issue with my converter. It might or might not be what's happening with your world. If it isn't then I'll try to fix the converter when I have time

Emm, I still think it's the problem with the converted world file. You see, once the file is outputed, it just takes 1MB of space, which is much smaller than a normally generated world. Even entering the converted world and walking around creates some chunks of blank and makes about 10MB.

You can try teleporting to whatever Minecraft 3DS shows your coordinates as on the bottom screen (the part that says "X: # Y: # Z: #”)

I tried to do this btw, walking around and teleporting everywhere actually didn't help.

Of course I don't want to push you to heavy works, however. Take it easy bro, and have a nice life:)
