I think it is about time that the stale development of the current cuttingedge/master branch ends and transition to v2 is made.
Bug reports on cuttingedge/master will be ignored/closed with reference to this post.
I have v2 running and it has been at least as stable, if not more than before.
Some features are still missing/are untested (like Notifications and Komga/Kavita integrations), but I am confident that the core-function is working as intended.
A lot of Website-Connectors I have not yet re-implemented, but for anyone willing, there is a rough guide in the README of the v2-branch on how to do so.
Improvements have been made in various areas over v1, see #355 for a list of implemented features.
How to transition from v1 to v2
Data-transition will sadly not be possible, or at least not without significant effort, which in my opinion is not warranted. If you don't want to re-download entire libraries, the functionality to start a chapter-number is now accessible in the frontend as well.
