Thanks for posting the plugin. Here are some of the things I hope to look at:
- Potentially add a few filters so its possible to serve the images from a CDN URL
- Possibly move away from the use of TimThumb - I had issues with GIF images and also it breaks occasionally. Would be nice to tie it into WordPress media library too. Could be a big job though.
- Potentially move the cache folder to /wp-content/uploads/bj-cache as we know we can always write there
- Look at adding the ability to use mod_rewrite to support cleaner URLs
- Is foresigt.js is worth integrating http://www.cdnconnect.com/docs/foresightjs ? - The bandwidth detection is interesting
I cannot guarantee I will get to look at all of these but will do my best.
